Skiing in NH: Gunstock Mountain

Gunstock Mountain is in the Lakes Region in Gilford, a short 35-minute drive from The Hotel Concord. Initially constructed by the Works Project Administration in 1937, Gunstock is one of New England’s premier ski resorts.

With the right mix of novice, intermediate, and black diamond trails, Gunstock is perfect for skiers of any level. With breathtaking views of Lake Winnipesaukee, Gunstock is an ideal ski destination for the whole family. Ski, snowboard, cross country ski, tube, snowshoe or ride a fat tire bike on over 32 miles of cross-country trails. Looking for a winter thrill? Check out the Mountain Coaster! It is a mountainside roller coaster comprised of two-person carts on stainless steel rails.

With energy-efficient high capacity snowmaking, Gunstock offers excellent conditions all winter long for both day and night skiing. Gunstock also features New Hampshire's longest tubing run and plenty of activities to keep the entire family smiling!

Skiing in NH: Ragged Mountain

Located in Danbury, NH, Ragged Mountain is a hidden gem! If you love glades and curvy trails, Ragged delivers both in abundance. With lifts spread across two mountains (Ragged Mountain and Spear Mountain) This area offers plenty of varied terrain for novice and expert alike!

You can rent everything you need for a day on the slopes, and Ragged offers 57 trails with 250 skiable acres and snowmaking that covers 85% of the mountain. Ragged Mountain’s Pinnacle Plunge Tubing Park is 700-feet in length and is designed with a series of pitches and rollers you'll experience speeds up to 30 mph! 

Skiing in NH: Mount Sunapee

Mount Sunapee is a year-round destination that offers fun activities like zip-lining and mountain biking in the summer, and in winter is the largest centrally located ski resort in New Hampshire. With full rental services, childcare, and a learning center for those new to the sport, Sunapee offers something for everyone in the family.

Skiing New Hampshire: Pat's Peak

Pat's Peak has been delighting skiers since it first opened in 1963. Located in Henniker, it's a short 20-minute drive from The Hotel Concord's front door. Take ski or snow bike lessons, rent anything you need for a day on the slopes, or take a break and visit The Sled Pub for a bite to eat and check out some of NH's most promising talent on Almost Acoustic Friday Nights.

Pat's Peak has one of the largest snowmaking systems per developed acre in the state of New Hampshire. It covers 100% of our developed terrain, and Pat's Peak is often one of the first ski areas in NH, and sometimes New England to achieve 100% of the terrain open. With seven trails that cover every level of skier, Pat's Peak is a great place to spend the weekend enjoying some of the finest skiing in the Region.

Après Ski at The Hotel Concord

When your done skiing for the day, return to your luxurious room at The Hotel Concord. Concord's only boutique hotel, for some après ski fun.
